Here are the ISHC 2016, Pokemon Sun and Moon inspired Gimmick Weeks! Remember that each gimmick ends at 11:59PM EST, Thursday night and the next Gimmick begins immediately at 0:00AM EST, Friday. When submitting your shiny to the blog, please put (Gimmick) in your submission. Thanks and enjoy the ISHC!
So for this year's ISHC there is a new rule for the Gimmicks. The idea of Gimmick Weeks is to inspire people to do new and unique hunts rather than be stuck on the same hunt for a long period of time.
Example: Dark-type Week - So let's say that the Gimmick of the week was Dark-types and you wanted to hunt for Darkrai. The first Shiny Darkrai would count for full Gimmick points. However, if you continuously hunt Darkrai then they will be worth regular points. Keep in mind that another fellow teammate can still hunt for a Shiny Darkrai and get full Gimmick points. Another thing to note, let's say that the Gimmick is Psychic-type week. You can hunt for both a 3rd Gen Mewtwo and a 4th Gen Mewtwo and both will still count for full Gimmick points since they are basically two different hunts. The idea is to hunt as many Pokemon as you can for each Gimmick and not stuck getting a bunch of duplicates.
